Terrific Teriyaki Stir Fry


Stir fry is an easy dinner that can be put together in a matter of minutes. It’s perfect for busy nights, and it is full of nutrients that your family will love. Try this super simple beef teriyaki stir fry as is, or customize it to fit your family’s tastes.

2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
2 garlic Cloves, minced
½ cup Tamari Sauce
3 tablespoons Honey
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Arrowroot Powder
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Yellow Bell Pepper, sliced
½ Yellow Onion, sliced
1 cup Button Mushrooms, sliced
1 lb Flank Steak, sliced

1. In a large skillet add the coconut oil and garlic. Cook until the garlic is fragrant then add the Tarmari sauce. Turn the heat on low and stir.
2. Next, add the honey, sesame oil and arrowroot powder. Stir to combine until the sauce thickens.
3. Once the sauce has thickened, add the veggies and cook on low until they are cooked, but still tender. Remove the veggies from the sauce and set them aside.
4. Next, add the flank steak to the skillet and cook over medium heat in the thickened sauce until cooked through. Add the veggies to the meat and sauce mixture and cook on low for 2-3 minutes, then serve.
