Sausage with Peppers

 

Sausage is the perfect breakfast meat. It is spicy, full of protein, and pairs great with veggies. This recipe for sausage and peppers is great with eggs for breakfast, or can be eaten with Paleo friendly, home-made bread for dinner.

 

12 Sausage Links

1 Yellow Pepper

1/2 Red Pepper

3 cloves Garlic, minced

2 teaspoon Dried Oregano

2 teaspoon Dried Thyme

 

  1. Sauté the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. After the sausage has finished cooking, drain any grease from the pan.
  3. Cut the yellow and red pepper into slices, and add them to the skillet with the sausages.
  4. Sprinkle the dried oregano and thyme over the sausage and peppers, then cover the skillet and cook on low for 5-8 minutes.
  5. Next, add the minced garlic and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
