Paleo Vanilla Protein Waffles

 

Waffles are the perfect breakfast food. They are crispy, decadent and can be super nutritious. These vanilla flavored waffles are packed with protein and flavor. They will wake you up in the morning and keep you energized throughout the day.

Ingredients:
¾ cup Applesauce
4 Whole Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
1 cup Arrowroot Powder
1 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, applesauce, vanilla, and melted coconut oil. Next, add the arrowroot powder and combine.
2. Add the protein powder, baking soda, cinnamon and mix well.
3. Next, heat up your waffle iron and pour the batter onto the waffle iron and cook until crispy and cooked through. Repeat until all of your batter has been used.
4. Garnish with maple syrup, honey, peanut butter or fruit.
